Beasts of Berlin

Personal Project

A fictional mystery about strange creatures appearing on the streets of Berlin, inspired by legendary sightings like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster.

Created the characters and world, photographing the creatures in real locations across Berlin.

Built the story in real time on social media, posting sightings and clues in character and building a highly engaged audience who speculated about the creatures and followed each new appearance.

Presented the project through exhibitions, live storytelling presentations and a self-published set of photo cards.

Photography & Storytelling: Sightings and clues, posted in real time and in character.

Print Design & Storytelling: The whole story, collected in a self-published set of photo cards.

Live Storytelling: Presenting the sightings to an audience in Berlin.
